Analysis By David Mawuli
Sometimes, bringing you the best blogs as our slogan doesn’t fall under our best articles categories alone but we always yearn for the truth and the facts that would let Ghanaian/Africans understand the real amendment, integrity and sanity we want to bring into the African music industry.
It’s quiet interesting to know your favourite Ghanaian artistes who would fail a reality show contest. Don’t be annoyed neither be shocked with this analysis. They are based on a survey I took over last week. Apparently, most reality show contest are 90% based on voice and that’s why some popularly known artistes would fail if they try. Here are the list…
#1. Kwaw Kese: For him, he would never qualify at the early stage, i.e the audition stage. But I always say, if God blesses you, who is a man to condemn. I have studied on particular think about Braaa Kwaw. It’s his hard work, dedication and commitment to make it in life after all sort of failure in his life. I met him once in the GH brothers studio doing Cool Down collaboration with Jay and it is then that I saw the real power in him. He’s always focused and don’t care about what you say or do against him. I love him.
#2. Tinny: He is one of them. I don’t really know which category he falls within. He would fail. After all the “Anaconda”, he seems to be sinking day-after-day.
#3. Paedae: For him, thanks to his partner, Mugeez. He has no place to stand with his boring rap in their “Life” track….He always bore me too much…If he thinks the English rap is killing him, then he should carry on with Twi…After all that’s his best side.
#4. Buk-Bak: If someone would criticize me about the host of names I have mention, they would not do this. The answer is obvious. That’s why they criticized reality shows later last year.’
#5. Sala: She’s lost…Where is she? Her voice is dope somehow but bot to the level of reality show contest judges. She would be dropped at the early stage. She’s modelling, and that’s she can do…Always when I pass by Boomerang Nite club, I stare at her and say ” Where is your music?’.
#6. Nana Boroo: Nana Boroo is not a musician. I always call him, a “Momentum star”. He is part of the hit and run artistes.
#7. Atumpan: If voice, “Out” and if rap, an average. I don’t know how he got the Viast 1’s just ended Born Starz judge seat. He don’t worth it. Maybe the Born Starz organizing committee decided to hire cheap judges.
#8. Five-Five: All they know is “Gangantuan Bodies”
#9. Fuse ODG: Always mixes voices. I don’t actually know his position now. Either singing or rapping.
#10. Mzbel: Don’t believe Mzbel when she says, she is a musician. She is a model not a songstress.
