Rinda Leo…

ThinkGhMusic-Who is Rinda Leo and how did you get your beginning in the music industry?

Rinda Leo-I am Naturinda Leo aka Rinda Leo, I started singing a long time ago when I was in primary school.  I was a member of the school choir and I joined drama club in O level.  After completing my studies I used to sing at parties and by then I could easily perform other musician’s songs. In 2012 I recorded my first song and that’s how I got my beginning.

ThinkGhMusic-Where do you come from?

Rinda Leo-I come from Kakindo Kyangyenyi, Sheema District, in the western part of Uganda.

ThinkGhMusic-Tell me a little about you and your family?

Rinda Leo-I am the last born of my Father and Mother they had 6 of us siblings of which I am the youngest but there are 4 girls and 2 boys.

ThinkGhMusic-Who is your inspiration and how do they inspire you?

Rinda Leo-Juliana Kanyomozi is my inspiration and she inspires me very much to be true to myself.  She started from karaoke and built her career that way, she faced all of her challenges and never gave up because she knew what she wanted in her career and she is now a super diva and I love her so much.

ThinkGhMusic-Any tips for future musicians trying to make it in today’s music industry?

Rinda Leo-My advice for future musicians is always be patient, never let anyone make you do something you don’t feel right or not comfortable with, stay true to yourself and never mix love and business.

ThinkGhMusic-What does this song “Ninkukunda” mean to you and why did you write it?

Rinda Leo-I wrote this song “Ninkukunda” because I felt like that my fans would love it and every time I play the song now and I hear the word “Ninkukunda” I feel the love that I have for my son and know why I wrote this song.

ThinkGhMusic-What can we look forward to in the near future from you?

Rinda Leo-I want to work hard and start making music again and I have a lot for you and I want to assure you that this is just the beginning much more is coming so expect the best from me…Also I want to start up a project of promoting upcoming artistes because of what I have gone through I want them to see that they are not alone that there are people out there with the same talent that I have but have been not doing anything because they lack the resources of where to get started and how to go about getting the help that they need.

ThinkGhMusic-Where do you see yourself in the music industry in the next 5 years?

Rinda Leo-I see myself in the top 5 best musicians in Africa and am working to get to that point and with the help of God I know I will make it.

ThinkGhMusic-Thank you for your time Rinda I wish you all the best in your quest for success…God Bless you always!~!
