Ratty Bee-Rising Star!~!

Ratty Bee…

ThinkGhMusic-Who is Ratty Bee and how did you get your beginning in the music industry?

Ratty Bee-I was a student while doing the music so it was very difficult for me, so after completing school my brother and a very good friend of mine by the name of Okodie set up a management team for me and they have helped me a lot. It hasn’t been easy working myself into the industry because if you don’t have anyone to push you it becomes a problem that’s where my management team came into play by helping me.

ThinkGhMusic-Where do you come from?

Ratty Bee-I’m from North_Bunkpurugu in North Eastern Ghana.

ThinkGhMusic-Tell me a little about you and your family?

Ratty Bee-My real name is Mahama Abu Kanba a past student of Bawku Technical institute after completing BTI, I continued onto Business Management and Financial Institution and there I studied HND in Water Management and Administration and have completed my studies in that area.  We are a very hard working family of Kantam, there are six of us that my Mum gave birth too, 2 girls and 4 boys.

ThinkGhMusic-Who is your inspiration and how do they inspire you?

Ratty Bee-Stonebwoy is my inspiration, looking at where he was and he never gave up he continued with his path and now he has a BET award under his belt and he is making a name for himself thru hard work and dedication to his music.  So when I see his path and listen to his music it inspires me a lot to be the best that I can be.

ThinkGhMusic-Any tips for future musicians trying to make it in today’s music industry?

Ratty Bee-Yes of course, a lot of them be strong man, Kofi Kinaata, Medikal, and many more which I’m also included because looking at the hard work we are all doing it means that the music industry has a future.

ThinkGhMusic-What genre of music do you consider yourself doing?

Ratty Bee-Afro-pop/ hiplife music

ThinkGhMusic-What does this song mean to you and why did you write it?

Ratty Bee-It means a lot to me because in today’s music we look at things that are happening in society, I wrote the song to describe how some of these modern day ladies are (Bad) that’s why the title of the song is “Hol Dwon Der.”

ThinkGhMusic-What can we look forward to in the near future from you?

Ratty Bee-I have a lot to do as far as my music career is concerned, I am looking forward to a feature with Sarkodie in my next song titled “Ferrari.” I will also be working hard on my music video clips so everyone should expect more hit songs and quality video clips from me very soon.

ThinkGhMusic-Where do you see yourself in the music industry say 5 years from now?

Ratty Bee-I see myself being one of the top musicians in the next 5 years. I want to say thank you to my fans, my management team and to you for your time doing this interview for me.  Black Facez Music Forever.

ThinkGhMusic-You are very welcome, I wish you all the very best in your quest for success…God bless you always!~!
