I got a chance to talk with Nigerian Tee Master J this week and talk to him about his career and aspirations for the future. When I asked him who Tee Master J was and what did he represent he told me, “Tee Master J is a hip-hop singer and music producer. He started his career back in the days in his secondary school unique comprehensive college in Kano State, Nigeria.” When I asked about his family he told me that he was the only brother of the six siblings.
He told me along with his five sisters, his father hails from Kogi and his mother also from Kogi State.
ThinkGhMusic-What do you see in the future for yourself in the music industry?
Tee Master J- I see fame and a lot of awards.
ThinkGhMusic-who is your inspiration in music?
Tee Master J-Bennie Man from Jamaica.
ThinkGhMusic-What tips would you have for upcoming artistes in this industry?
Tee Master J- Artistes should stay focused on the long run if they are going to make it for there are a lot of obstacles but you have to stay focused and stay the course if you want to make it in this profession.
ThinkGhMusic-where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Tee Master J-at the top of the world making it real with singing and producing music.
ThinkGhMusic-What was the inspiration behind Bad Girl ft. FemzyKid and what does it mean to you?
Tee Master J-This song means a lot to me, the meaning of the song is for me to introduce myself to a bad perfect dancer meaning bad girl.
ThinkGhMusic-Are there any other languages that you sing in besides English?
Tee Master J-I sing in English, Pigin, Yoruba, Housa and Jamaican Patua.
ThinkGhMusic-what can we the public expect to see from you in the near future?
Tee Master J-He said to expect the best from him, I will be looking out to see what the future shines on him with in the music industry.
