Vibetown label frontman, Hecta is charged up for the year as he is set to drop yet another classic Afrobeats jam titled “Daavi Kpormda” featuring rapper, Quata Budukusu.
“Daavi Kpormda”, a popular Ewe phrase which translates as ‘See me, sister’, is the ideal title for the track considering the content and structure.
Explaining the concept of the track, Hecta divulged that: “…because, I do everything to impress a lady so I can catch her attention yet she treats me like I don’t even exist. She demands so much financially yet she doesn’t even give me attention or show me care.”
Produced by KV Bangerz, “Daavi Kpormda” is a fast-tempo jam which fits clubbing and any hard party event.
On what fans should expect, Hecta said: “A super hit that will reign from time to time based on the concept of the song…and it’s a song everyone can relate to”.
He continued: “Fans should be on the lookout for ‘My Journey’ Hip-hop album hopefully dropping before the end of this year and back to back singles and videos of any genre dropping before the release of my debut album.”
He also revealed that he has a new video for fans. “The video of the first song I released this year is ready and will soon be premiered but it delayed due to the demise of my mother whose funeral took place last month,” he concluded.
“Daavi Kpormda” has been scheduled for release on all digital and streaming platforms on Thursday, June 8.
