TGM-Who is Yungkido and how did you get your beginning in the music industry?

Yungkido-My stage name is Yungkido and thru following some steps, you know I take time watching music video most especially the foreigners. But the artists who gave me the ginger that makes me do what am doing now as an artist is a Nigerian artist called OLAMIDE a.k.a Bado…I started music when I was in Ibadan City at the age of 12 because I was in secondary school then but my parents didn’t want me to be in the music industry, but I kept going having the faith that one day I am going to make it to the top.

TGM-Where do you come from?

Yungkido-I am from Nigeria I live currently in Lagos.

TGM-Tell me a little about you and your family?

Yungkido-I am the second born of 3.

TGM-Who is your inspiration and how do they inspire you?

Yungkido-Olamide Baddo is my inspiration, the way he raps give me inspiration to rap also and also his stage performance.

TGM-Any tips for future musicians trying to make it in today’s music industry?

Yungkido-My advice is to work hard, stay true to yourself, stay humble and never give up.

TGM-What does this song “MOGBE” mean to you and why did you write it?

Yungkido-MOGBE” is something like a shocked thing to you maybe someone did something bad and they told you about it in Nigeria you just shout MOGBE, In English it means I am dead what a surprise.

TGM-What can we look forward to in the near future from you?

TGM-As a musician, how do you feel giving back to your community who support you is important?

Yungkido-I am going to build up those who are like me especially the upcoming artist, the motherless and I am going to help those that are in need of help in one way or another.  I feel great when I am able to help people and I want to thank the people who support my music and my fans I pray God will never leave them as He has never left me…Jah bless you all.

TGM-Where do you see yourself in the music industry in 5 years?

Yungkido-Anywhere God sends me.
