TGM-Who is Bongo Rapper and how did you get your beginning in the music industry?
Bongo-My stage name is Bongo and I started music when I was 12 years old.
TGM-Where do you come from?
Bongo-I am from the Volta Region of Ghana.
TGM-Tell me a little about you and your family?
Bongo-My name is Gbeve Bright Kofi and I am still single, my parents are still living. My mother, Kunaki Alice Tega is a trader and my father, Gbeve Francis Kofi is a teacher.
TGM-Who is your inspiration and how do they inspire you?
Bongo-I am inspired by Sarkodie his rap satisfies me and I really love the way he delivers and I want to do more than him.
TGM-Any tips for future musicians trying to make it in today’s music industry?
Bongo-No, I don’t have any tips.
TGM-What genre of music do you consider your music?
TGM-What does this song “Crazy Bae” mean to you and why did you write it?
Bongo-“Crazy Bae” this song was written out of creativity when I was thinking about this girl and I wrote about telling her how she is making me crazy.
TGM-What can we look forward to in the near future from you?
Bongo-I am looking and working towards becoming the nest Artist of the Year (VGMA).
TGM-As a musician, how do you fell giving back to your community who support you is important?
Bongo-I feel cool when I am giving back to my community because they encouraged me to do more and improve on my talent.
TGM-Where do you see yourself in the music industry in 5 years?
Bongo-I have had the opportunity to perform on some stages in Ghana such as Willago Lodge, Agbo radio, Weta Rice Festival and others and I want to continue to grow as an artiste and perform in bigger markets.
