Think Ghana Music: Hello Nino

 Nino: Hi

Think Ghana Music: Who is Nino?

Nino: Nino is the humble baby on the music scene whose smile and baby sigh has made the established musicians look over their shoulders with a bit of uneasiness.  Nino seeks to redefine great music by putting on a new style of music that I call “Nuslam” and it is taking me to the top notches of the industry.

Think Ghana Music: What is your ethnic background and who are your parents?

Nino: I am Ashanti and my parents are Mr & Mrs. Offei.

Music:Tell us about your early life and your educational development.

Nino: I went to Adventist Preparatory School in Kumasi and was a member of the church choir.  I completed as best vocalist in Ghana after a National choral competition.  Then I went to Prempeh College and also was a member of the choir. I had my own high-life group which consisted of Kunta of Bradez Fame and Tintin.  We were glad to be one of the best groups in the Ashanti region when it comes to SHS level.  I continued on to Valley View University and took Banking and Finance and graduated with a good class. Throughout my educational journey, I continued with my musical journey also for it was my burning desire and I am now into the music industry full-time.

Think Ghana Music: How did you burst into the Ghana music scene and what inspired you after achieving such a high level of education which would buttress your future career rather than music?

Nino: After following the passion within back in the days, I recognized it was best to mature the talent into business so I had to learn the business side of it so that I would fit well into the showbiz side.

Think Ghana Music: What is the meaning of Nino and why did you choose it as your showbiz name?

Nino: Nino is a Spanish word meaning “baby” and I love to be called a Baby because babies have some unique qualities they possess.  Below are some of the qualities:

-Babies are humble

-We turn to presume they know nothing going on but they know their Mum.

-Babies see what we don’t see.

-Babies don’t care where their Mums may be when they are hungry, they will just cry for breast milk meaning, they don’t compromise.

It’s better we take a critical look at a baby and study them and we will get to understand more about why I want to always be El Nino.

Think Ghana Music: What’s your first single and how many do you have currently?

Nino: “My Friend” is out already and I’m yet to outdoor two songs; “Fanosaa” and “Pride of a Woman”

Think Ghana Music: Which artiste inspires you?

Nino: Kojo Antwi

Think Ghana Music: How did you feel staging with the music Maestro, Kojo Antwi for the first time in your career?

Nino: I felt so honoured to mount this prestigious platform and I give thanks to God.

Think Ghana Music: Let’s enter your personal life. What’s your hobby?

ANino:Music is my hobby I am so addicted to my music.  I watch football when Dede Ayew plays for Ghana

Think Ghana Music: Do you drink alcohol?

Nino: No

Think Ghana Music: Are you engaged in an intimate relationship?

Nino: No

Think Ghana Music: Apart from your duo singles which you are about to release, what are your future plans?

Nino: Let’s wait for the future to speak for itself, but all I can say is the Future is Brighter…. Lots of pending projects and events.
