Exo Omoruyi: God is my inspiration and Buju Banty motivated me.
Thinkghmusic.com: What do you see yourself doing now and in the future with your music?
Exo Omoruyi: I have been working so hard on my own with the help of God, I have done collaborations with different musicians in Nigeria and Ghana with air play, interviews on different radio stations, Internet, TV stations and a compilation CD. I have had collaborations with TreeTop on a song titled “Ojonlo” and also on my own song titled “God Know So.” I have collaborated with 2 Nigerian rappers called Wardplay and Black C-Zar and Ghanaian female gospel singer called Papetual and more collaborations are yet to come. With this effort and God by my side, I know I will succeed.
Thinkghmusic.com: What was the inspiration behind “Be Mine”?
Exo Omoruyi: The song came about when a close friend of mine was courting a young lady asking for a relationship with her and even though he had money she still refused him. One day he came to me and said, “All I want is her to be mine.”
Thinkghmusic.com: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Exo Omoruyi: I see myself on top of the music industry and as a mentor to the upcoming musicians. In the nearest future expect to see Exo at the top of the limelight with lots of hit songs with trending superstars as I am working on new hit tracks all the time.
