Popular Hiplife/Afrobeats musician Raymond Eduwodzi, known in the showbiz circles as Eduwodzi has made copyright claims of Edem‘s latest song “Nyedzilo” which features Nigerian Mavinstar Reekado Banks.
The Magnom-produced Afrobeats song which was released two weeks ago sparked controversy on social media when Eduwodzi and some of his followers made claims of the song.
In a recent Facebook post, Eduwodzi ‘shamed’ rapper Edem and revealed that he first recorded a song titled “Nyedzilo” (which features Nigerian singer E-Fine) in the year 2010.
According to the “Yenko Nkoaa” hit maker, Edem’s song is a replica of his, considering the chorus, rhythm and title as well as featuring a Nigerian star.
The rapper wrote: “Nye dzi lo nye gbe A song i recorded 2010 which I ft Nigeria artis called E fine Edem also did the same song and ft a Nigeria artiste is a BIG SHAME How can you gust (guess) a song with the same words same chorus same melody same same title LOL.”
